For current Windows 9x information and help, I suggest  searching the archives of:

WIN95-L  http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/win95-l.htmlWindows 95 Give-And-Take List

WIN98-L   http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/win98-l.htmlWindows 98 Give-And-Take List

WINNT-L   http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/winnt-l.htmlWindows NT Discussion List

or visiting  the  Windows Magazine's    Help  or  Improve  sections website.   Of course, there is Microsoft's  Support.  However, while a  search  of the Microsoft's  Knowledge Base  can be a good starting point -- but  too often it's a "hit" or "miss" proposition and if  using a "non-IE " browser such as NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR (still  my all time favorite web browser) then be prepared for a lot of Network Errors from the Microsoft sites.

For the best Windows software (shareware & freeware) downloads, I suggest:

Zd-Net Download Site  (includes all operating systems;  reviews and detailed descriptions)

Winfiles.com  (formerly Windows95.com now owned by CNET - only current win9x reviewed software)

Stroud's Consummate Winsock Apps  (Internet related software only; detailed reviews)

Web Page created using:

Software:  Netscape Communicator 4.7  HTML editor, COMPOSER   Hardware:  refurbished  Compaq Deskpro 4000   purchased from my favorite auction site, Onsale.com. This IBM PC clone is circa 1997; 32 megabyte ram; 133 mhz  and personally upgraded by myself with various refurbished and new parts --mostly spotted at  Auction Watchers.com including a  Hewlett-Packard's  "All In One" Officejet 520 Fax, Copier & Color Printer.  Operating System:   Microsoft's Windows98.  Web Server:    MARZ Online  formally MVP.NET and before that ... including MO.NET (Missouri On-Line Network) located in St. Louis.
