Description of Planned Staff Development Activities
August, 2000

Technology Director at Visitation Academy will survey
available consultants and qualified personnel to conduct
hands-on workshops and will prepare a web site for
independent study.
September - December, 2000

Teachers will participate in the hands-on workshops and
independent study to build technology skills in preparation for
the work sessions to plan a technology integrated lesson.
January - March, 2001

Teachers will participate in work sessions with the technology support staff to develop a
classroom project that incorporates the use of cable, video, internet and other technology
resources. Participants and technology team will evaluate work sessions and class projects.
April, 2001

Teachers will share project results and successes with local staff. Technology
Director will share the results with the Archdiocese Technology Coordinator for
dissemination to schools of the Archdiocese.
May - June, 2001

Technology Director will submit evaluation and documentation of project activities to the
St. Louis County Cable Television Commission.
